Carol first produced the original Book of Answers as an Artist's Edition of 130 in February of 1998 which was then published commercially in October of 1999. It has since been published in more than nine international editions. In 2001 The Book of Answers received an award from the Dutch for being the #19 bestselling book in the Netherlands. The newest in the series, Mom's Book of Answers®, is her sixth published book in the United States. |

Carol Bolt is a multi-disciplinary artist with a history of incorporating words, drawings and interactive elements into her two-dimensional and sculptural work. Her work is informed by a strong interest in mainstream cultural objects and imagery. Creating mass through repetition and accessibility through humor are predominant aspects of her work. Her work has been widely exhibited at locations including Philadelphia, Seattle and Los Angeles. Her work is included in public and private collections; her public sculptural installation "No Appointment Necessary" was recently accessioned into the Seattle Arts Commission collection. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Delaware and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Washington.
